Creativity has been shown to have many benefits, from "Just being fun" to improving mental health and emotional well-being and we are offering an ever growing range of workshops for you.
Writing for Wellbeing - An opportunity for participants to explore the creative process of writing without self criticism or pressure to “get it right”. Workshops are run with a sense of freedom through experimenting with ideas, feelings and words. This course does not aim to provide any element of therapy, but is intended to increase a sense of well being, enjoyment and a release from the concerns and pressures of everyday life.
Writing My World - An opportunity for participants to explore experiences that have affected their lives. Using well considered writing exercises people will look at their positive and negative experiences, through the first or third person, poetry or prose. Initially a safe place will be created within the group and participants will be supported to share their writing. Participants will work on their own, in pairs, small groups or in the whole group. Simple relaxation techniques will be used to open the imagination.
We also form partnerships with therapists, drama workers and other creative workers to offer a flexible range of workshops. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
